I often don't see my new private messages for a few days, or weeks, since there doesn't appear to be indicator outside of a (1) being added to the messenger link at the top. I've seen other forms that throw a popup at your and/or send you an E-mail. Just a suggestion.

Sweet idea! But we are a low budget/skills operation Smiley Don't know if that possible for this site!

I will see what I can do though. I agree, I never see the PM's. But I did highlight the area with a different color to try to bring it to your attention.
